As a precaution against possible storm-related damage this weekend or Monday, College employees should power down and unplug office computers, printers, and copiers when you leave work this afternoon.

If you are located in a basement or in another area possibly prone to flooding, I would recommend also that you transfer all computing equipment and cords from the floor to your desk top or another elevated surface – provided, of course, that you can do so without putting yourself at physical risk (no strained backs, please).
