A phishing attempt was sent by email to a large number of people on campus this morning asking the user has “Re-Validate” user information by clicking on a link in the email.

Do not respond to this email. If you have already responded, immediately change your password using the Password Manager at http://pwr.smcm.edu.  You may delete the email from your inbox, and further attempts to deliver this email will be blocked by our servers. As a reminder, OIT staff will never ask for your password when dealing with your campus accounts.
