Phishing Attempt – October 3, 2012

A phishing attempt was sent by email to a large number of people on campus this morning asking the user has “Re-Validate” user information by clicking on a link in the email.

Do not respond to this email. If you have already responded, immediately change your password using the Password Manager at  You may delete the email from your inbox, and further attempts to deliver this email will be blocked by our servers. As a reminder, OIT staff will never ask for your password when dealing with your campus accounts.
