Web Services Move to OIT

In January, the Office of Information Technology assumed overall responsibility for managing the College’s web assets, including the public web site, the portal intranet site, web applications, and enterprise wiki and blog platforms.

I’ve formed a Web Advisory Committee to provide guidance to OIT regarding the design, functionality, and content of these web resources.  The Committee approved a charter document at its first meeting on Feb. 15.  Committee members for 2012-13 are:

  • Michael Gass, Assistant Vice President of Information Technology (Chair)

  • Mark Heidrich, Assistant Vice President of Academic Administration
  • Sally Mercer, Associate Vice President of Human Resources
  • Nairem Moran, Director of Sports Information
  • Richard Platt, Associate Dean of Faculty
  • Karen Raley, Sr. Development Officer for Donor Relations & Communications
  • Keisha Reynolds, Assistant Vice President of External Relations
  • Robert “Dirk” Rousseau, Student Representative (Class of 2013)
  • Kelly Schroeder, Assistant Dean of Students
  • Dave Sushinsky, Director of Alumni Relations
  • Andrew Wilhelm, Student Representative (Class of 2016)
  • Jennifer Wright, Assistant Director of OIT User Support & Learning Technology Services
  • Derek Young, Associate Director of Residence Life & President of Staff Senate
