Due to the large number of personal devices brought to campus this semester to access the internet, OIT is taking steps to expand the number of IP addresses available to students for internet access to accommodate the increased demand on the SMCM systems. While this expansion is being completed, students may experience brief internet service disruptions. We expect the interruptions to last only a few minutes at a time.
If you experience such an interruption today, please reboot your device and attempt to reconnect to the network after a few minutes. If you experience more than an hour of service interruption, and have rebooted your device, please create an IT Support Ticket at http://itsupport.smcm.edu
and be sure to include your location, type of device, and a contact number to reach you.
