Blackboard Service Interruption November 21, 2013 – Service Restored

We believe that the Blackboard login issue reported earlier today has been resolved.  All users should be able to access their accounts at this time.

If you have any additional problems logging into Blackboard, please create a ticket at http://itsupport.smcm.edu with the exact text of the error you received.

OIT continues to work with Blackboard to resolve the service interruption on campus. Currently, some users are able to log in if they wait a few minutes for the login process to complete. We are still working to return the login process to normal operation.  We will update you as further information is available.

OIT has received reports of users currently unable to access Blackboard. We have contacted the vendor and are working with them to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. We will update you with further information as soon as it is available.
